The Florida Narcotic Officers' Association was formed on July 18, 1992, by a group of law enforcement officers that were involved in the Florida Sheriff's Association Statewide Crack Cocaine Task Force. 

Since it's inception FNOA has increased it's membership exponentially to a group of diverse, conscientious law enforcement investigators to include municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement officers both throughout the State of Florida and beyond.

The FNOA has become one of the most sought after organizations in the State of Florida and beyond for training of narcotic officers .  FNOA, throughout the year, conducts regional training seminars in different areas of the state for free or minimal charge to investigators or their agencies .  Annually, FNOA presents a training conference that has developed into the premiere event of the year and is widely used by state, local and federal agencies as a training venue for their officers and agents. 

The goals of the FNOA are not only to provide the best in training available,  but also to promote multi-agency contacts among narcotic agents around the state and beyond and to promote anti-drug awareness.

2020 Conference Cancellation

Due to the uncertainty and the current and continued restrictions caused by COVID-19,   the FNOA board made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Conference.  The conference was scheduled for July 13, 2020 - July 17, 2020, however the hotel and Disney properties were just starting to open and in phases so we felt this was the best decision at the time.  COVID has also had a major impact on the hotel and hospitality industry, as many organizations have also had to make the same difficult decisions to cancel their meetings/conferences during this uncertain time.  Therefore, the FNOA Board continued their current relationship with the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort and signed our 2021 contract.  The 2021 Conference will take place from July 12, 2021 - July 15, 2021, many of our scheduled vendors kept their vendor contracts for 2021 and several agencies also kept  their registrations active for 2021 conference.  We are confident that we will all get through these uncertain times together and  look forward to seeing everyone in July 2021!

    The 2021 28th Annual Training Conference will be held at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort located at 1850 Hotel Plaza Blvd., Lake Buena Vista, FL.  A room rate of $149.00 per night (single or double occupancy) Tower Room $129.00 per night (single or double occupancy) Garden Room has been secured during the conference and is offered for three days both pre and post conference.  This rate is guaranteed through June 12, 2021.

    Break Down Schedule

    You may break down at any time on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 after 7:00 pm, however if you prefer you may stay until after our reception that is held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:00pm, as this is the time that many dignitaries from the various agencies are present for the Awards Ceremony.  The attendees will be present for classes on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 8:00 – 5:00 pm, but will be enjoying lunch on their own. 


    Please advise upon registration if this is you wish to stay through Thursday and if you will be attending the Awards Ceremony/Banquet as well.  We will need your food preferences if you plan on remaining for the banquet, so that we can advise the hotel of same.  Depending on the number of vendors remaining, we may have to condense the exhibit area during this reception.  Break Down will need to be completed no later than 10:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

    Exhibit Space Specifications

    All space is allocated on first come, first serve basis.  Adequate space will be allocated for the exhibit, approximately 8’ x 10’ space, which is limited to:  (1) 6’ Table and (2) chairs and trash container.  No construction will be allowed on the sides of any booth, which would obstruct the view of adjacent booths.  All decorative materials must be flame-proofed.  No signs will be affixed by any means to the walls, doors or any other surface in the exhibit area or conference facility.

    Silver Level - $1,500 - $2,999

    Includes an 8’ x 10’ booth in the Exhibit Hall and half page advertisement in the meeting program.  Recognition as Silver Sponsor on the FNOA website. Company supplied banner prominently displayed during sponsored event.


    Bronze Sponsor - $600 - $1,499

    Includes an 8’ x 10’ booth in the Exhibit Hall and a quarter page advertisement in the meeting program.  Recognition as a Bronze Sponsor on the FNOA website.  Company supplied banner prominently displayed at conference.

    Payments or Cancellations

    FNOA accepts cash, check and credit cards.   All payments should be made payable to Florida Narcotic Investigators Association and remitted to FNOA at P.O. Box 76109, Tampa, FL 33675. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to membership@fnoa.org by June 29, 2021 to receive a full refund.  All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.  Refunds after this date will be determined on a case-by-case basis.  Substitutions may be made at any time.  In the event of a subsitution, please email membership@fnoa.org.  Please include the registrants name you are canceling and the new registrants full name and agency email address.
